I am moving from the UT3 editor into the wonderful new world of the Unreal Development Kit. There are many, MANY enhanced features that I am excited to check out. I am also working with it full time at work for the next month or so on some VIZ stuff. Overall it’s a really exciting time to be using this engine! Fin
UDK – http://www.udk.com/index
that’s great, m3. Can you specify some of the differences? I assume the standard UT3 editor is the one you get with the game, but the UDK is downloaded from the Epic site?
You do such good work in UT3, very glad to hear you have more tools to work with.

Hey Ricky, sorry for my late reply here. The UDK is a stand alone editor you can get from here http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/DevelopmentKitHome.html
It has many updated features, too many to mention here. I would say that most notably is the Fracture system, the fluids system, and the new lighting system (called lightmass) to name a few. The UI is soooo much friendlier as well now that they have drag and drop functionality. It really makes it a marvelous machinima tool. Cheers dude!
How were you able to convert GOW assets with materials to UDK?
Dude, I have been waiting for a reply for months. I would like to know how you got the assets into UDK from GOW? Please email me or post here
